2020/21 Season Is Fast Approaching .....

(Rowan Kitton 02/09/2020)
Our Ethos-

'To develop and nurture young footballers in a safe and enjoyable environment. We aim to instil fairness, sportsmanship, competitiveness and social interaction with the emphasis on having fun.'

Our philosophy-

To coach and encourage players to express themselves through sport, to bring out their individual talent and to understand the importance of playing as a team.

What you can expect from us-

We will give everyone a fair opportunity to participate and play.
We will communicate primarily through the website giving as much information and notice as possible. Where late changes are required we will inform everyone using the WhatsApp group chat.
We aim to train every week and will apply 'common sense' regarding the weather and player availability etc. If training is off we will let you know. If we don't then it is on!
We will try to be fair and consistent with our approach and communicate any concerns or issues with you where appropriate.
We will always try to make the football experience enjoyable and positive.
We will always listen to any questions or ideas and make the best decision for the team as a whole.

What we expect from the players-

To respect each other, us, the referee, the opposition, the supporters and the club.
To try their best, win or lose.
To play with a positive attitude taking collective responsibility as a team and to not apportion individual blame.
To attend training and matches on time and with the appropriate kit.
To play positively regardless of their position on the pitch, again in the best interest of the team.
To play with a smile and to enjoy it.

What we expect from parents, guardians and supporters-

To ensure players attend training regularly. Regular non-attendance can impact on the team as a whole.
To inform us when not available for training or matches as early as possible.
To inform us of any concerns or issues as appropriate.
To use the website for updates regularly.
To encourage the players in a positive way and to respect the opposition and referee.

Myself and Steve really enjoy volunteering our time for the team and appreciate the efforts of everyone. Thanks for your continued support!

Roll on the new season. C'mon Town!!!
